A live-data comparison like Honda Pioneer-520 vs Kymco Mxu-450i-Le gives ATVs and UTVs buyers a more realistic picture than spec sheets alone — the prices shown here reflect actual dealer asking prices, not MSRP. When evaluating ATVs and UTVs at this price point, experienced buyers typically weigh hours of operation, tire and suspension wear, and aftermarket accessory packages alongside the headline number. The Kymco Mxu-450i-Le currently carries the lower median asking price, which compounds meaningfully over a 48-to-72-month financing term — even a modest gap per month adds up to hundreds of dollars by payoff. Broader selection from the Honda Pioneer-520 side gives buyers more negotiating room and reduces the chance of settling on a unit that's slightly off on color, trim, or mileage. Ask for a copy of any service records and inspect the skid plates, A-arms, and CV boots for damage consistent with heavy off-road use — those components absorb significant abuse and are expensive to replace if neglected. Trailer requirements, protective gear, and property access or membership fees for riding areas are recurring costs that differ between utility-focused and recreation-focused buyers and should be part of your total budget comparison.
