A live-data comparison like Polaris Patriot-9r-Pro-Rmk-Slash-165-Premium-Black-Crystal vs Ski Doo Mxz-200 gives snowmobiles buyers a more realistic picture than spec sheets alone — the prices shown here reflect actual dealer asking prices, not MSRP. When evaluating snowmobiles at this price point, experienced buyers typically weigh track condition, recorded miles, clutch health, and off-season storage history alongside the headline number. The Ski Doo Mxz-200 currently carries the lower median asking price, which compounds meaningfully over a 48-to-72-month financing term — even a modest gap per month adds up to hundreds of dollars by payoff. Broader selection from the Ski Doo Mxz-200 side gives buyers more negotiating room and reduces the chance of settling on a unit that's slightly off on color, trim, or mileage. Inspect the track for missing lugs, cracks along the drive windows, and stud wear — track replacement is one of the largest single maintenance expenses on a used snowmobile and directly affects resale value. Trail permits, trailer ownership, and proper off-season fogging and fuel-stabilizer treatment are recurring costs and tasks that factor into the total annual cost of owning either of these models.
